MEDFORD, Ore. -- The Emergency Communications of Southern Oregon ECSO 911 says AT&T customers are unable to hear 911 dispatcher's voices.
They say if you call 911 you will not hear the call takers voice. The call taker can still hear you, but they are unable to communicate with you. AT&T customers can still call the non-emergency line in Jackson County at (541) 776-7206 instead of 911 for now.
AT&T customers can also text 911.
AT&T along with Century Link are aware of the problem and working on it.
