KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Klamath Health Partnership will host a final drive-through COVID-19 vaccine event at the Klamath County Fairgrounds this Wednesday. Basin Transit Service will offer free rides to the event.
KHP says its June 2nd coronavirus vaccination event is by appointment only and begins at 9 a.m., where they’ll be offering the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
Any Klamath County resident may register, regardless of patient status, and those residents must register to receive a vaccination.
Basin Transit Service partnered with KHP, community health care providers and the Klamath County Public Health Office to provide transportation for people needing vaccination.
All users must wear masks, available for free on all BTS buses.
People living within the transit district who are unable to self-sufficiently reach a bus stop due to disability or significant challenge may call 541-883-2877 before June 1st at 3:00 p.m. to schedule a home-address-to-vaccination-site roundtrip service at no cost.
Public transportation vehicles’ capacity is limited to 50% by federal regulation.
You can register for your vaccination appointment here.
