Klamath Falls First Interstate Bank Robbed

The First Interstate Bank in Klamath Falls was robbed this morning just after 9 A.M.

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. -- The First Interstate Bank in Klamath Falls was robbed this morning just after 9 A.M.

According to Klamath Fall Police, the suspect appeared to have a gun when he entered the bank and was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of money.

After an investigation police identified the suspect as Robert Sean McCarthy.

Officers who were searching the area were able to find McCarthy in from of the Klamath County Library. He was then taken into custody and transported to the Klamath County Jail.

McCarthy was charged for robbery and theft.
