KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — A second person has died in Klamath County due to the coronavirus, Klamath County Public Health announced on Thursday.
The most recent fatality was a 64-year-old man with underlying health conditions, according to the agency. He died at Sky Lakes Medical Center, though Klamath County Public Health did not specify the day of his death.
Klamath County reported its first death on July 1, a woman in her 70s who had also been hospitalized.
Josephine County reported its second COVID-19 fatality earlier this week. Jackson County's first fatality was reported last week.
As of Thursday, Klamath County had 201 reported cases of coronavirus, out of 7,961 tests processed since the beginning of the pandemic. 14 coronavirus patients have been hospitalized in the county since March.
