GRANTS PASS, Ore. — Detectives with Rogue Area Drug Enforcement (RADE) snatched a shipment of methamphetamine over the weekend with the aid of the resident K9, according to the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety (GPDPS).

Detectives were working with Homeland Security and the Oregon State Police marijuana team, investigating 35-year-old Ronnie Markey Olloque of Carson, California.

The investigators descended on Olloque when he arrived at the Grants Pass Best Western on Sunday. Using K9 "Match," detectives tracked down a taped-up box inside a "vehicle associated with Olloque." Inside they found more than three pounds of meth and $5,700 in cash, GPDPS said.

Olloque was arrested and taken to the Josephine County Jail for Unlawful Delivery and Possession of Methamphetamine. His initial bail has been set at $500,000.
