MEDFORD, Ore. -- Today health officials are reporting new cases of COVID-19 in both Jackson and Josephine counties. Each county is reporting one new case as of Sunday, May 31.
The one new case in Josephine County brings the total number if cases to 24. Josephine County Public Health says it is investigating all cases to identify contacts and exposures and to isolate and monitor all individuals relevant to the cases.
The one new case in Jackson County brings the total number of cases to 66. Jackson County Public Health wants to remind people that the virus has not been eliminated, and there is no vaccine available.
Statewide, the Oregon Health Authority is reporting 58 new cases. That brings the statewide total to 4,243 cases. No new deaths are being reported in Oregon today.

- Jackson: 1
- Jefferson: 3
- Lane: 4
- Marion: 11
- Multnomah: 23
- Wasco: 1
- Washington: 5
