Jackson County’ health officials say the 85th Covid-19 death is a 74-year-old woman who tested positive on December 6 and died on December 25 at her residence. She had underlying health conditions.
The number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 in Region 5 (Jackson and Josephine Counties) is 37, decreasing by 3 from the previous day. There are 12 patients in the intensive care unit (ICU), reducing by 1 from the previous day.
The total number of patients in hospital beds may fluctuate between report times. The numbers do not reflect admissions per day nor the length of hospital stay. Staffing limitations are not captured in this data and may further limit bed capacity.
