Sean Moss’ mother, Catrina Miller, said she doesn’t believe he went missing on purpose because this is unlike anything he would ever do.

ROSEBURG, Ore. -- The family of a missing Douglas County father and daughter is desperate for answers about their whereabouts.

Sean Moss, 29, and Madison Moss, 2, were last seen on Aug. 9 leaving a friend’s house.

Catrina Miller, Sean Moss’ mother, said the two were supposed to spend the day at the Douglas County Fair on Aug. 10. However, Miller said she knew something was wrong when Moss and his daughter never showed up at the fair.

Miller reported them missing on Aug. 12.

Miller said she doesn’t believe he went missing on purpose because this is unlike anything he would ever do.

“It’s not like him not to talk to me like every other day, every few days, and not hearing from him for the last two weeks is totally out of character for him,” said Miller.

As of last week, Madison Moss’ case has been entered in The National Center for Missing and Endangered Children database.
The case was also featured on Live PD, a national cable show on A&E on Aug. 23.

Miller also said Moss is a very dependable person and a great father to Madison. Investigators said they don’t classify this as a kidnapping case because Moss has full custody of his daughter.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said Moss was driving a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer with Oregon plates 549-DBU.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Sean and Madison Moss, please contact the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office immediately.
