MEDFORD, Ore. --

UPDATE: An autopsy of 23-year-old Sierra Clemens confirms that she died of "multiple stab wounds," according to the latest update from the Medford Police Department (MPD). Officers found her body in a room at the Tiki Lodge, a Medford motel, after responding to a disturbance call.

The result of the autopsy also confirmed what investigators already suspected — that Clemens was murdered.

"The knife believed to have been used in the homicide was recovered during the investigation," MPD said.

33-year-old suspect Justin Lee Graham-Yaeger pleaded not guilty in court this week after being charged with murder, aggravated murder, and burglary in the first degree. If found guilty, he could face the death penalty.

33-year-old Justin Lee Graham-Yaeger faces one count of Murder, with no bail.

"Graham-Yaeger was provided medical treatment for the K9 bite that occurred during arrest," MPD said. "After he was released from the hospital, he was interviewed and lodged in Jackson County Jail."

Graham-Yaeger is considered a transient, and was apparently on probation for Burglary and Felon in Possession of a Weapon through Jackson County Community Justice.

UPDATE: Police are calling the death of a woman at the Tiki Lodge in Medford on Friday morning a "homicide," after investigation of the scene led to a suspect in custody.

The victim has been identified as 23-year-old Sierra Bree Clemens. Clemens is from Grass Valley, California and next of kin have been notified.

Officers found Clemens in the bathroom, along with as evidence of a "violent disturbance." Additional officers responded and began checking the area, with the aid of police K9 Kylo.

Kylo led officers to a dumpster behind a business in the 500 block of N. Bartlett Street, where they found a man hiding in the dumpster. He was arrested after sustaining a bite wound from the police dog, MPD said. His name is not being released at this time.

The crime scene included the path the suspect would have taken from the motel room to the dumpster where he was found. Detectives are continuing to investigate the case and we do not believe any other suspects are outstanding.
