The Melt Grilled Cheese Food Truck’s Secret Recipe *The Bacon Cheddar Bleu*
Ingredients: -Sourdough Bread (or bread of choice) -mustard of your choice ( we used stone ground mustard) -Tillamook Medium Cheddar -Rogue Creamery’s Smokey Bleu Cheese -Tomatoes -Bacon
The Melt: Step 1: To begin, we want to prep all our ingredients, dice tomatoes into cubes and start cooking your bacon in a frying pan. Once Bacon is crisp, set aside for later.
Step 2: Take two pieces of Sourdough Bread and smear the mustard on both pieces of bread on one side.
Step 3: Add two slices of Cheddar along with a spoonful of crumbled Bleu Cheese to one side
Step 4: Begin getting your pan hot and add butter mixture to the pan
Step 5: take one slice of bread ( The Bleu cheese side down) and lay on top of the parmesan skirt
Step 6: Add your tomatoes and bacon and then grab the other slice of bread & cheese, then lay it on top to complete your sandwich. Step 8: After about 2-3 minutes or until the crust is golden, pick up your Melt out of the pan, add more butter mixture then flip your Melt onto the unfinished side and repeat the process until you have achieved a Melty, Gourmet Grilled Cheese Sandwich, Grab your favorite Tomato Soup and Enjoy :)
