APPLEGATE, Ore. -- The Illinois Valley Fire District is investigating what caused a home to catch on fire in the 5000 block of Thompson Creek Road on October 31, 2019.
Fire crews say 80 percent of the house was on fire when the first unit arrived to the scene. AMR had a medical unit on standby if there were any injuries.
The Illinois Valley Fire District says Pacific Power sent a lineman to disconnect power from the home to protect firefighters from electric shock.
The Illinois Valley Fire District Fire Marshal is currently investigating the cause.
