GRANTS PASS, Ore. -- Today there were around 900 people who showed up for the Grants Pass Women's March but they were not the only ones, Medford, Portland, and streets across the nation were filled with men, women and children who were joining together for women's rights.

"We need to get Trump and his administration out of the White House. It's our house. We need to change the policy and the division in this country," said one women who was marching.

Another participant said, "It feels really good to be here, especially with families, our husbands and children speaking up and defending our Constitution."

Rogue Indivisible, a local group that is part of a world-wide movement for women, organized the 2018 Grants Pass Women's March that started at 10:30 at the Riverside Park. Then hundreds of people marched to the Josephine County Court House.

Across the street from the court house a group showed up to oppose the march.

Joseph Rice opposed the march saying, "I see signs across the street from the Woman's March that say 'Not My President.' They seem to be confused, Donald Trump is the President of the United States and should enjoy our respect and our support to make this nation great again."

Organizers of the march said they had double the amount of people they were expecting and have every intention to hold another march next year.
