The car drove into the path of a motorhome that was headed East on 140.

Hames was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the motorhome had minor injuries.

There were two passengers in the SUV with Hames. Nicole Rossi, 24, of Argentina was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

UPDATE: Oregon State Police confirms there was one fatality. A female passenger was ejected from from an SUV and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and an additional passenger were taken to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.

The initial OSP investigation suggests a Ford SUV went through the intersection without stopping at the stop sign or flashing red stop light. OSP says the SUV drove directly into the path of motorhome causing the crash.

One person in the motorhome was also taken to the hospital for unknown injuries.

Oregon State Police is investigating if impairment was a possible contributing factor in the crash.
