WHITE CITY, Ore. —
UPDATE: Police have released the names of the people involved in Tuesday's deadly crash.

Oregon State Police said Enrique Hames, 25, of Argentina was driving the SUV. Police say he was driving north on Kershaw Road and failed to stop the at the intersection with Highway 140.
The car drove into the path of a motorhome that was headed East on 140.
Hames was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the motorhome had minor injuries.
There were two passengers in the SUV with Hames. Nicole Rossi, 24, of Argentina was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Cristina Hernadez Selles, 26, of Spain died in the crash.
OSP says next of kin was notified through the Spanish Consulate.

UPDATE: Oregon State Police confirms there was one fatality. A female passenger was ejected from from an SUV and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and an additional passenger were taken to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
The initial OSP investigation suggests a Ford SUV went through the intersection without stopping at the stop sign or flashing red stop light. OSP says the SUV drove directly into the path of motorhome causing the crash.
One person in the motorhome was also taken to the hospital for unknown injuries.
Oregon State Police is investigating if impairment was a possible contributing factor in the crash.
ODOT and Jackson County Roads have set up detours. OSP says the road closure is expected to last far into the evening commute.

UPDATE: A Jackson County worker has confirmed to a NewsWatch 12 reporter that this is a fatal crash investigation. Right now we are working to learn more about how many victims there were, and how many people were involved in the crash.

INITIAL REPORT: Right now Highway 140 is closed off at the intersection of Highway 62. A crash happened between 2:00 and 2:30 p.m. on HWY 140 at the intersection of Kershaw Road.
The Oregon Department of Transportation says they expect the closure to be "lengthy" while Oregon State Police investigates.
A detour is being put in place.
