MEDFORD, Ore-- Harry and David's Village Store is completely renovated. The work took 11 months.
To celebrate on Saturday there was live music, sweets and wine tastings. The first 100 shoppers lined up outside for special savings.
President of Harry and David, Steve Lightman spoke to Newswatch 12 about the recent changes. He said it's important to have a nice store because Harry and David is not only a staple in our community, but a tourist destination too. "This is our flagship store. So people that are traveling, when people come in and tourists are visiting the community, they want to see what Harry and David is all about. They'll go on the tour at our facility and then they'll come over to our county village store and get to taste stuff. Before you know it their leaving with 2 big bags of products." said Lightman.
President Lightman says the new renovations include better signage, more tasting opportunities and makes it easier to get through the store.
