MEDFORD, Ore.-- People are talking about gun control after a lengthy gun control debate at the Jackson County Library in Medford.

The debate was moderated and attracted a large crowd of people with questions for the two speakers debating.

On the gun control side was Brian Josephson, a student who organized the March For Our Lives protest back in March.

On the gun rights side was David Kirk West, a filmmaker and gun rights activist.

March for Our Lives Organizer Brian Josephson says, "Every attack and death is an assault on our most basic right, the right to life, without that there are no other rights."

David Kirk West says, "All humans do indeed have a right to life, liberty, and property, and by extension that means people have an absolute inherent right to own firearms. Thanfully we live in a country that explicity recognizes that right."
