WHITE CITY, Ore.-According to the U.S. Department of Labor, people are spending an average of $109 dollars on groceries a week.
That number is $8 higher than it was just 3 years ago in 2015.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture predicted that overall food prices would rise about 1%-2% this year.
Some of the food products that were expected to go up in price this year were beef, veal, cereal, eggs and bakery items.
The good news is that you can enter our grocery giveaway for the chance to win a shopping spree.
