MERLIN, Ore. — Officers from multiple law enforcement agencies arrested a Josephine County man on Friday after discovering stolen property at a house north of Grants Pass.
Investigators from the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety, Josephine County Sheriff's Office, and Medford Police served a search warrant at 6166 Monument Drive, the home of 23-year-old Tyler Adair.
"During service of the search warrant, several stolen trailers were recovered along with tools, stolen lumber, and a wood splitter," GPDPS said.
The agency said that the stolen items have been reunited with their rightful owners.
Officers took Adair into custody and interviewed him at the Josephine County Jail. He was lodged on charges from an unrelated police chase the night before near NW Vine Street, GPDPS said. He has not yet been charged for any of the thefts.
"This investigation is on going and anyone with information or with outstanding property in connection to unsolved trailer or tool thefts are encouraged to call GPDPS at 541-450-6260," the agency said.
