GRANTS PASS, Ore. — Police with the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety (GPDPS) arrested two men in the past week, both of them accused of sexually abusing minors.
On Friday, a police officer responded to All Sports Park "to investigate a suspicious vehicle," the agency said. The officer reportedly found 20-year-old Gabriel Rosencrans there.
An investigation found that Rosencrans had sex with a 16-year-old girl inside the vehicle, GPDPS said. Officers arrested Rosencrans, lodging him in the Josephine County Jail on two counts of Sex Abuse II, Contributing to the Sexual Corruption of a Minor, Public Indecency, and Sexual Misconduct.
On Tuesday, detectives say they received information from an unrelated investigation that indicated 21-year-old Aystyn H. Boeggeman had sex with a 15-year-old girl.
"A subsequent investigation revealed that Boeggeman had been in a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old female, while he was 20 years old," GPDPS said.
The next day, officers found Boeggeman at a house in the 4000-block of Dick George Road near Cave Junction and took him into custody. Boeggeman was charged with twelve counts of Rape III, eleven counts of Sodomy III, eight counts of Sex Abuse II, 23 counts of Contributing to the Sexual Delinquency of a Minor, and 23 counts of Sexual Misconduct.
