GRANTS PASS, Ore.--According to the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety, Rogue Area Drug Enforcement (RADE) Team said this seizure "is believed to be the largest seizure by the RADE team since its inception."
Harry Douglas St. Clair was arrested Thursday after a secret indictment warrant was issued. The Grants Pass Department of Public Safety said he was indicted by a Josephine County Grand Jury for possessing, manufacturing and distributing methamphetamine. RADE detectives seized more than 16.5 pounds of meth on September 2nd. This is believed to be the largest seizure by the team since it started. Detectives said they also seized more than $12,000 in cash. They add St. Clair gained this amount from dealing the drug. The Grants Pass Departmen of Public Safety said this arrest is a result of earlier RADE investigatoins over the past year into mid to street level meth dealers in Josephine County.
The Grants Pass Department of Public Safety said the previous "record" was held by Teri McManus who was arrest in September 2017 and is now serving 9 years in prison. Detectives said they seized 10 pounds of meth from McManus.
