Local Girl Scouts can start taking cookie orders on the 5th of January and customers can expect them to be delivered in mid-February.
Scouts will start selling boxes at cookie booths in front of local retailers in February.
Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington say that "100 percent of net revenue earned from cookie sales remains within the local region". They also say that selling cookies inspires confidence ad teaches them finance and entrepreneurial skills.
