MEDFORD, Ore -- Fred Meyer will now have special hours for Seniors and high-risk customers.

Starting on Monday, March 23 from 7:00 am to 8:00 am shopping hours will be reserved for these customers. The grocery store will reserve this hour Monday to Thursday for now.

The company is asking people to respect these designated shopping hours.  "We request that customers respect these hours for the health of our community. We appreciate all of our customers for their kind consideration, whose concern contributed to our decision to provide designated shopping hours for seniors." said Fred Meyer.

The grocery store is also asking people to only purchase what you need and be nice to one another. The company is restocking stores daily and wants to make sure everyone can get the products they need.

Starting at 8:00 am on Monday to Thursday shopping will be open for everyone.

The grocery store also announced Saturday that every hourly employee will be getting a bonus. This includes full-time and part-time employees. Fred Meyer says this is an appreciation bonus.
