KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — Firefighters rushed to Adams Street in Klamath Falls on Thursday after a house fire began spreading to nearby homes, according to Klamath County Fire District 1 (KCFD1).
Crews began responding just before 2 p.m. They arrived on the scene to find one home engulfed in flames, with the fire beginning to spread to nearby structures.
"The incident commander called for a second alarm and received mutual aid from Kingsley Field Fire, Chiloquin Fire & Rescue, and Keno Rural Fire Protection District," the Fire District said.
Firefighters quickly searched the homes for victims while trying to stop the fire's spread. KCFD1 said that one person was taken to the hospital for a "medical issue," but no firefighters were injured.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
