Firefighters battle house fire for more than 5 hours

Crews have to monitor the destroyed home today and tomorrow for hot spots.

WOLF CREEK, Ore -- Last night firefighters from Wold Creek Fire, Rural Metro Fire, Glendale Fire and the Oregon Department of Forestry battled a house fire. 

The fire was found around 8:30 last night. A driver passed it on Lower Wolf Creek Road. The two story home is destroyed. 

It took firefighters more than 5 hours to get the fire under control. The fire did not spread around the home. Mop up will continue today and tomorrow. Plus firefighters are looking for hot-spots. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation and the fire department says it is suspicious.
