OBRIEN, Ore. —
UPDATE: As of 5 p.m., ODF says that the fire along Highway 199 has been completely wet-lined, meaning that water has been sprayed around the fire's edges to slow potential spread.
Firefighters are still working to get the fire completely extinguished. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

INITIAL REPORT: Fire crews are responding to a new wildfire in Josephine County located north of O'Brien, according to the Oregon Department of Forestry.
ODF said that multiple agencies are heading to the scene of a grass fire along Highway 199 just north of O'Brien. Multiple engines, ODF's Type 2 helicopter, a helitack crews, water tenders and other resources are responding.
"Multiple structures in the area are reported to be threatened, however structural engines are on scene. An aggressive initiative attack is underway," ODF said. "Please be aware of potential delays and fire personnel along Highway 199."
