TENNANT, Calif.-- For months residents living in communities around the Antelope Fire have been waiting for the danger to pass.
Thanks to a solid amount of rain that the area sustained on Saturday, residents no longer have to wait.
In a Facebook post released by the Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office around seven Saturday evening, all Evacuation Orders and Warnings for the Antelope Fire have been lifted.
A huge relief for the surrounding communities which have been in constant danger from the fire since August 1, 2021.
According to the latest update from InciWeb, the Antelope Fire has burned 145,243 acres and is 73% contained.
