Teen Dead In Thanksgiving Eve Crash

One teenager is dead after a fatal crash in Klamath County. Icy conditions a factor in the crash.

One teenager is dead after a crash on Highway 140 West on Wednesday night. 

The crash happened around 10:30 P.M. near mile post 41. Oregon State Police say a 19 year old Klamath Falls resident lost control of a Ford F250 because of icy road conditions. The truck crossed into the oncoming lane and rolled over the shoulder multiple times. 

The driver of the truck as well as two other passengers were sent to Sky Lakes Medical center for injuries. 

Eighteen year old Angel Briones Cendejas sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead en route to the hospital.
