HORSE CREEK, Calif. — An evacation warning has been issued due to a wildfire start along Highway 96 in Siskiyou County, according to the U.S. Forest Service - Klamath National Forest.
The fire is along the highway, east of Horse Creek and on the south side of the Klamath River.
The evacuation warning covered Walker Road west to Scott River Road.
"Multiple resources are on scene of what has been named the Cherry Fire, including several aircraft," USFS said.
