SELMA, Ore -- Illinois Valley Fire District, Rural Metro Fire and AMR put out a house fire just before 4:00 am Sunday morning. There was lots of teamwork on this fire.
The fire was on the 18002 block of Redwood Highway. The fire departments say the fire was only in a small portion of the home. Pacific Power helped by turning off power at the home so firefighters could work safely.
There were three people inside the house. They were able to get out safely, because their smoke detectors went off. The American Red Cross was also there to provide living assistance.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Illinois Valley Fire Department Fire Marshal.
