Drug Busts in Mount Shasta Result in Arrests

MT. SHASTA, Calif. -- Several people are facing serious drug charges in Siskiyou County.

The Siskiyou County Sheriff Department says three search warrants were served on two locations in Mount Shasta.

The search turned up 19 pounds of marijuana and a laboratory with sophisticated equipment. The equipment included THC extraction lab equipment, valued at as much as half million dollars.  Three suspects were arrested at the scene for manufacturing a controlled substance.

Four separate marijuana cultivation sites were located at these two sites and 337 illicit marijuana plants were seized in the operation. Two loaded firearms, a rifle and handgun, were also found at one of the sites. One arrest was made during the search warrant operation
