CURRY COUNTY, Ore-- Curry County Health Officials announced one new case of the coronavirus this morning. This now brings the county's total case count to 23.
According to Curry County Public Health, it has contacted the individual and they are now at home self-isolating and monitoring symptoms. Curry County is investigating the case to identify any possible contacts and exposures that the individual may have had. They say that they will reach out to anyone who is suspected of being exposured to COVID-19.
Currently there have been 23 total cases of the coronavirus in Curry County, with 19 people recovering from the virus. Four cases remain active and there have still been zero deaths and zero deaths since the start of the pandemic.
Curry County Public Health wants to remind people to follow all the Oregon Health Authority and CDC guidelines, as well as the Governor’s directives about social distancing. This includes wearing facial coverings in public buildings and protecting yourselves by staying home to slow the spread and save lives.
