PORTLAND, Ore -- Curry County has reported a new case of the coronavirus - increasing the total in the county to four.
The Oregon Health Authority reported 59 new cases bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 1,844 cases.
The number of covid-19 related deaths also increased to 72, after officials announced two new deaths. One was a 62 year-old man from Clackamas county, and the other was an 84-year-old man from Marion county. The Authority says that both had underlying medical conditions.
The new COVID-19 cases reported today are in the following counties: Clackamas (1), Curry (1), Deschutes (2), Jackson (1), Klamath (1), Linn (2), Marion (18), Multnomah (26), Polk (1), Umatilla (2), and Washington (4).
