CURRY COUNTY, Ore. -- The Curry County Public Health Administrator says their application to enter Phase One reopening was approved Wednesday Night.
The process will start on Friday.
Curry County received a letter from Governor Brown Wednesday night.
The letter contained Governor Brown's goals for a safe and strong Oregon which are listed below:
1) Allow people to return to work so they can support themselves and their families.
2) Minimize risk to front line workers.
3)Avoid overwhelming the health care system.
4)Protect those at highest risk of severe illness, especially the elderly, those with underlying
health conditions, and communities of color.
5) Support social/cultural/spiritual reopening to preserve community cohesion.
The letter also says the Oregon Health Authority will be monitoring the spread of Covid 19 in Curry County.
