TILLER, Ore. — Fire crews from the Douglas Forest Protective Association are responding to a "natural cover fire" burning about four miles north of Tiller in Douglas County on Tuesday, the agency says.
The Marshall's Place Fire was last estimated at 100 acres in size. DFPA said that no homes are currently threatened, and the fire's cause remains under investigation.
Fire officials have requested more resources to help with suppression efforts. Crews are currently on the scene, actively engaged with the fire.
This is a developing story and will be updated with more details as they emerge.
