CENTRAL POINT, Ore -- While many high school students are focused on what comes after graduation day, they still have finish off the school year. Students at Crater High School have a few more goals to accomplish.
One being their senior projects.
"It started being personal and we wanted a project that meant to us," Senior Gisselle Garay said.
Crater High School started their senior projects back in 20-11. Since then the seniors have put in 14,000 hours of work and they've raised more than $44,000 dollars.
This year a group of seniors at Crater Academy of Public Service are collecting toys for Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.
"The fact that I can help people, people that I don't know and it’s just a nice feeling,” Senior, Jecenia Gonzalez said.
The girls plan on hand delivering the toys to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. If you want to help out, you can drop off donations to Crater Academy of Public Service.
