UPDATE 10:45 a.m. : The Illinois Valley Fire District says that on Saturday December 28, at 8:15 PM AMR and IVFD responded to a bicycle rider hit by a car on HWY 199 near Reeves Creek.
IVFD says the cyclist was transported by AMR to Rural Metro Fire station 4.
IVFD says the patient was then transferred to Mercy Flights and flown to Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center.
Oregon State Police says the cause of the crash is under investigation.
Oregon Department of Transportation also assisted at the scene.

KERBY, Ore. -- Right now, police are investigating a crash involving a pedestrian. At 9 p.m. Saturday, Oregon 199 near Kerby was shut down in both directions. The closure starts at milepost 25 in Kerby. This is just above Cave Junction.
OSP, fire and medical crews are on the scene. They're asking drivers traveling between Cave Junction and Grants Pass to take a different route.
