MEDFORD, Ore. -- Jackson County Public Health announced Saturday, August 28 that poor air quality from wildfires in the region would cause Covid-19 testing and vaccination services to be modified at the Jackson County Expo.
The new setup is meant to provide relief to the staff from the smoke.
Vaccinations will be distributed through a walk-through clinic in the Mase Building at the Expo. People can enter through Gate 3 for Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines available on site.
Covid-19 testing will remain a drive-through, but people will enter through Gate 2 instead of Gate 5.
Results for Covid tests will typically be available within 3 days but could take up to 5 days.
Pre-registration is required to be tested at this location and people are encouraged to do so prior to arriving. There are people who can assist with registration if needed.
Covid-19 testing and vaccines will be available at the Jackson County Expo:
•Thursdays and Fridays: 2:00p.m.–8:00p.m.
•Saturdays and Sundays: 10:00a.m.–4:00p.m.
Registration for Testing:
