CENTRAL POINT, Ore. — The investigation into a Medford man accused of downloading and distributing child pornography has led to the arrest of another local man, according to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators searched the home of 54-year-old Jeffery Ford in March of last year, leading to his arrest. Prosecutors charged Ford with multiple counts of Encouraging Child Sex Abuse First Degree and Second Degree.

"Evidence believed to be on digital storage devices was seized and sent to the Oregon Department of Justice to be analyzed," the Sheriff's Office said.

The investigation of the evidence in Ford's case led investigators to make another arrest on Tuesday morning. The Sheriff's Office said that the SWAT team and detectives served a search warrant in the 3200-block of Edella Avenue in Central Point with the help of the Southern Oregon High Tech Crime Unit and Homeland Security.

Officers arrested 35-year-old Nathan Dale Wagner, charging him with 16 counts of Encouraging Child Sex Abuse in the First Degree.

"The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is continuing the investigation and additional details will be released at a later date," the agency said.

A mugshot of Wagner was not immediately available.
