MEDFORD, Ore. — The Medford and Jackson County Chamber of Commerce is starting a sales campaign aimed at getting people back to businesses harmed by the economic impacts of coronavirus — through special deals at different businesses several days per week.
"A countywide sale, Kickstart Southern Oregon is a community awareness campaign to jumpstart the economy in the Rogue Valley through discounted offerings on curbside, delivery, and shipping options," the Chamber said in a statement.

'Kickstart Southern Oregon' is set to begin on Monday, June 15 through Wednesday, July 15. Businesses that join the campaign agree to provide discounts on Monday through Wednesday for a month.
If you want to support the participating businesses, you can call in orders or purchase online in order to pick up curbside or have the products shipped or delivered.
“Getting Jackson County businesses back on their feet is a high priority for The Chamber, and Kickstart Southern Oregon is just one of many ways we’re promoting the community and helping create a strong economy,” said Brad Hicks, President and CEO of The Chamber of Medford & Jackson County.
The campaign is open to all retail stores and restaurants in Jackson County, whether they have a storefront or not. The idea is to jumpstart sales in spite of ongoing coronavirus limitations. Each business agrees to offer an online-exclusive sale each day on an item or purchase.
Monday deals are 25 percent off, Tuesday 15 percent off, and Wednesdays are 10 percent off.
“This has been an incredibly difficult time for businesses across the world and we feel it’s necessary to keep taking steps to help keep our local companies open and operating," Hicks continued. "We encourage you to consider purchasing from the restaurants and retail establishments that are truly the heart and backbone of the Rogue Valley.”
Businesses can sign up to participate by going to the Medford Chamber website and filling out the merchant agreement. All merchants will be listed on a webpage, and the event will be promoted all three days of the week for one month on each organization’s Facebook page and other social platforms, as well as The Chamber’s Facebook page.
