MURPHY, Ore. -- A small cannabis drying shed caught fire Friday morning in the 1000 block of Murphy Creek Road.

Rural Metro Fire said that the occupant of the home used a garden hose to keep the fire from spreading into the brush or nearby structures.

The home in the area suffered minor heat damage.

Rural Metro said it believes the fire is related to an unspecified electrical issue associated with the drying process.

This is the second fire in two days involving drying sheds in Josephine County.
