Britt Festival announces first batch of concerts for 2020 'Britt Presents' season

Frequent Britt-goers will recognize some familiar names, in addition to some new ones.

JACKSONVILLE, Ore. — On Friday, the Britt Music & Arts Festival announced the first few shows in its 2020 "Britt Presents" season. Frequent Britt-goers will recognize some familiar names, in addition to some new ones.

In the first of three eventual announcements, Britt named Tanya Tucker — a classic country artist awarded two Grammys this past January — modern bluegrass-inspired acoustic jam band Trampled By Turtles, the "Once in a Lifetime Tour" headlined by reggae artist Stick Figure, Britt fan favorites Pink Martini featuring lead vocalist China Forbes, and Michael Franti & Spearhead, returning for their 15th year in a row.

  • Feb 14 - 23: Members may submit orders
  • Feb 24: Orders processed according to membership level
  • Feb 28: Sales open to members online
  • Mar 2: General public sales begin

“We’re off to a great start for this summer,” said Britt president & CEO Donna Briggs. “All of these artists are solid anchors for Britt, and we’re excited to present more shows in the coming announcements in March & April.”

A Britt Member pre-sale starts immediately. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 2. Tickets for the 2020 Britt Festival Orchestra Season are already on sale.

Two more Britt season announcements revealing artists for the 2020 Britt Presents Season will occur on March 13 at 10 a.m. and Thursday, April 9 beginning at 5:45 p.m.

  • June 9: Tanya Tucker
  • June 14: Stick Figure: Once in a Lifetime Tour
  • July 23: Trampled By Turtles
  • August 30: An Evening with Pink Martini
  • September 18: Michael Franti & Spearhead
