MEDFORD, Ore. — While Boy Scout Troop 5 was enjoying the Pear Blossom Parade and doing service work by
picking up trash after the parade was over, someone was busy stealing their original troop camping trailer.

It was taken from its location at Eastwood Baptist Church, and contained their restaurant grills that they use during the Medford Cruise for their main fund raising. Also stolen was some propane tanks, a 35 gallon water container and camping equipment.

They use these stolen items for their biggest fundraising events like their pancake breakfasts, concession stand at the annual Medford Cruise and the 4th of July pancake breakfast in Eagle Point at the Grange.

The funds received for these events help the boys put money into their scout accounts to pay for equipment, uniforms, high adventures and camping.

They have set up a GoFundMe fundraiser to help them replace the stolen items.
