GOLD HILL, Ore--The City of Gold Hill has received confirmation from the Oregon Health Authority that the City was not compromised in yesterday’s main line water break.
According to city officials, OHA says that that the boil order may be lifted for all of town except 3 homes which lost water completely. Those home owners have been notified.
For the rest of the community the City of Gold Hill says that the drinking water is safe for consumption and that the public is free to consume and use the drinking water for all purposes without any concerns over personal or public health.
Safe guards have been put in place to give adequate time to ensure that the drinking water system is safe and public health is protected.
