KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — The body of a Klamath Falls man was discovered along the Link River Trail on Tuesday, according to the Klamath Falls Police Department.
KFPD officers responded to the trail, which starts behind the Favel Museum, after a hiker stumbled upon the body in a brushy area between the gravel trail and the river.
The responding officers confirmed the discovery of a deceased male, but his identity was not immediately apparent. The investigation was handed over to KFPD detectives. Lead detectives did not believe that the man died under suspicious circumstances based on the initial investigation.
Investigators later identified the body as 25-year-old Fisher Tristopher Beck of Klamath Falls. Beck was last seen by a relative at 9 p.m. on Monday, March 1, according to police.
