ASHLAND, Ore.- The 12th annual Ashland Monster Dash is a fully virtual run. Due to the pandemic, the race would not be within the coronavirus restrictions. Racers were able to pick up their racing packets with also included a finishers metal and a finish ribbon that they are able to run through. All running times will be sent online.
This year due to the pandemic, the annual Ashland Monster Dash wanted to make sure the participants still had fun. There will be a gift giveaway for younger runners. Dozens of toys were donated from Blue Marble, a local toy store in Ashland. There will also be gift certificates, best costume and mask competitions.

In previous years, all proceeds would go towards all Ashland public schools, but this year, 50% of the proceeds will go towards the Talent-Phoenix families fire relief fund. The Ashland school district wanted to do as much as they can towards their neighboring school district that was affected by the Almeda fire. It was estimated that nearly 40% of the Talent-Phoenix school district's families lost their homes.
