ASHLAND, Ore. -- Demonstrators in Ashland made their feelings about the Kavanaugh nomination known today. They walked in solidarity, showing their support for Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, the first woman to accuse judge Kavanaugh of sexual assault.
Demonstrators lined up along East Main Street near the downtown plaza chanting and carrying signs.
Jack Leishman was one of the men who took part in the events. He says he believes Kavanaugh's accusers. "I believe them," explained Leishman. "Nobody knows all the details right now. But I believe them because the risk that this woman is taking to put herself out on the line, nobody would do that. Nobody would do that if it wasn't true."
The event was also about supporting sexual assault survivors everywhere.
