MEDFORD, Ore. — Budget airline Allegiant announced this week that a new complement of non-stop flights will include one between Medford and Orange County, California.
“We’re excited to offer travelers another gateway into Southern California, as well as into the Pacific Northwest in 2021,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue. “We are continuing to expand Allegiant’s network to provide customers with even more convenient, nonstop options for any travel occasion.”
Allegiant said that this new route will begin on February 12 of 2021, with fares as low as $69 each way. Among the other added flights is one from Orange County to Las Vegas.
Non-stop flights between Medford and Orange County will operate twice per week, according to the Jackson County Airport Authority.
"We are very pleased to partner with Allegiant on yet another destination for our Southern Oregon and Northern California communities," said airport director Jerry Brienza. "Serving Orange County will provide our community with convenient door-to-door service to Southern California, as well as provide Californians with service to the Wild and Scenic Rogue Valley!"
Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found at Allegiant.com. Flights must be purchased by Nov. 18, 2020 for travel by May 24, 2021.
Allegiant announced non-stop flights between Medford and San Diego earlier this year, and Alaska Airlines announced routes between Medford and Los Angeles in July.
