MEDFORD, Ore. — A newly-created Illegal Marijuana Enforcement Team or I-MET have arrested the two people that were involved in a private plane crash in a Medford neighborhood.
Zachary Moore and Matthew Thompson both are facing charges of importing or exporting controlled substances. They are both lodged in the Jackson County Jail.
The plane crashed in a neighborhood along Whittle Avenue yesterday. It clipped trees and cars on the way down and terrified neighbors who live nearby.
Police have been guarding the plane since it crashed while they wait for federal investigators to determine the cause of the crash.
The I-MET team is investigating the crash as well.
