TALENT, Ore. — The Talent Mobile Estates is calling for help as its community burned to ashes from the Almeda fire. Only 11 homes survived as the rest of the community is gone.
The current residents are asking for help as the clean-up is yet to start. Residents are asking for help from Commonwealth, the company that owns Talent Mobile Estates. Residents say they have reached out multiple times asking for information and help with little to no response.
One former resident said that the community is full of Spanish-speaking residents. They need more help being able to communicate with the company.
Residents have been charged for September and October rent. Commonwealth said that they will refund the residents for September and freeze rent for October. Residents were not aware of this. They have continued to pay for October and have yet to hear back from the company.
People living there feel as if they are depressed seeing the rubble and metal that has been melted to the ground. They are asking for help and clean up.
