Talent Hosts Major Recycling Event

The city of Talent is asking community members to round up their old electronics and hard to dispose items to be recycled.

TALENT, ORE. — The city of Talent is hosting a community-wide recycling event.

It’s called “Round It Up And Turn It In,” and it’s accepting a wide variety of materials including electronic waste, building materials, metals, styrofoam packing peanuts, and compact fluorescent light bulbs.

The event runs May 12th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be at the Talent City Hall.

Items not accepted are batteries, tube-shaped light bulbs, and single window panes.

You don't have to wait once a year it recycle those items. Head here to find out where you can recycle some of those hard-to-dispose recyclables.
