ASHLAND, Ore. -- The Ashland Independent Film Festival received a record breaking number of entries.


According to their Twitter, they received 1,233 entries, 170 more than last year.


Now, planning is underway for the 2016 festival.


The next few months will be spent going through all of the films and finding the right ones for the big screen. Only 90 to 100 will be selected.


Selections will be revealed on March 15 at the festival’s preview night.


The festival runs April 7 through 11.
